World Mobility Observatory

From congestion and air pollution to accelerating urbanisation, shifting working patterns and new growth models: the forces shaping the future of mobility are already in action today. Over the next few years, the reasons people move around and the ways that they choose to do so will undergo an unprecedented level of change. And they will do so in every market on earth. With sustainability issues, climate change concerns and new technologies altering the mobility landscape, traditional business models adopted in the past for developed markets provide little guide for the rapid growth markets of the future.
The World Mobility Observatory (WMO) from BIPE and TNS takes a unique collaborative approach to mapping the future of mobility globally, combining an in-depth consumer survey with cutting-edge forecasting and modelling techniques. WMO members then participate in workshops to identify innovative new business model solutions and provide a unique and valuable perspective on emerging mobility challenges and growth opportunities.
